A Fresh Approach to Supervising

Comprehensive Clinical Supervision Program

Thrive Wellness Clinic offers a comprehensive clinical supervision program for clinicians pursuing Washington State licensure. This program is designed to support associate-level and newly licensed therapists as they develop clinical competence, professional confidence, and ethical excellence on the path toward independent practice.

Our supervision model integrates individual and group supervision with structured education and mentorship. The program is fully aligned with Washington State Department of Health supervision standards and balances regulatory compliance with real-world clinical skill development.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associates (LMHCA)

Licensed Social Worker Associates (LSWAIC / LSWA)

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associates (LMFTA)

Newly licensed clinicians seeking ongoing clinical and professional support

All supervision hours are structured to meet Washington State licensure requirements in accordance with applicable WAC standards.

Our Supervision Model

We believe strong clinicians are formed through intentional mentorship, reflective practice, and skillful application of theory to real clinical work. Our supervision program emphasizes growth, accountability, and clinical integrity.

Individual Supervision

Individual supervision provides personalized, one-on-one support tailored to your clinical caseload and professional goals.

Individual supervision includes:

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning
  • Diagnostic assessment and clinical documentation support
  • Ethical decision-making and scope-of-practice guidance
  • Risk assessment and crisis management
  • Professional identity development and clinician self-care

Group Supervision

Group supervision offers a collaborative learning environment that combines peer support, clinical discussion, and structured regulatory education, while remaining fully compliant with Washington State supervision standards.

In addition to case consultation and skill development, group supervision includes ongoing education in Washington State laws and professional regulations relevant to clinical practice, including:

  • Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements
  • Revised Code of Washington (RCW) provisions governing licensure and clinical practice
  • Ethical and legal responsibilities specific to Washington State clinicians
  • Scope of practice, mandated reporting, and professional accountability
  • Navigating licensure requirements and documentation expectations

Group supervision also focuses on:

  • Case presentations and clinical discussion
  • Skill development and therapeutic interventions
  • Exposure to diverse populations and diagnoses
  • Peer feedback and shared clinical learning
  • Normalizing early-career challenges

Group supervision is facilitated to ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and meaningful participation, while equipping clinicians with both clinical insight and regulatory clarity needed for safe, ethical practice.

    Education & Clinical Skill Development

In addition to required supervision hours, our program provides structured education and clinical preparation in key areas essential for long-term success, including:

    • Evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches
    • Ethical standards and Washington State regulations
    • Clinical documentation, compliance, and risk management
    • Boundary management and professional responsibility
    • Therapist sustainability, burnout prevention, and self-care

Our goal is not only to support licensure completion, but to prepare clinicians for confident, sustainable clinical practice.
