Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (WA), MC61671795

Hi, I’m Jessica Matthews, and I’m a therapist who believes that meaningful growth begins in a space where you truly feel seen, heard, and accepted. I work with individuals across the lifespan, including adults and teens, and I feel deeply honored to walk alongside people navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and the unique experiences of neurodivergence.

I specialize in supporting neurodivergent clients, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those managing anxiety and depression. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and grounded in respect. My goal is to help you build clarity, resilience, and connection to what matters most in your life.

My approach is empathy based and person centered. That means I start by understanding your experience from your perspective and recognizing that you are the expert in your own story. Together, we explore what has been holding you back while also developing practical tools that support sustainable change and well being. In our work, you can expect warmth, curiosity, collaboration, and a genuine respect for your individuality.

I draw from evidence informed modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), blending these with relational and experiential practices that support meaningful, personalized healing. My commitment is to support you in ways that honor your strengths, your nervous system, and your goals for growth.

When I’m not in session, I enjoy reading, spending time with my son and our pug Carl Roger, and savoring a good iced coffee on a spontaneous drive. These moments remind me that joy and presence are often found in life’s everyday experiences
